PDF to PNG: common questions
- Should I choose PNG or JPG?
- PNG for pages that are mostly text, charts or diagrams, because it keeps edges sharp. JPG for photo-heavy pages, where it makes much smaller files with little visible difference.
- Will the PNG have a transparent background?
- No. Pages are rendered on a white background, the way they look in a PDF viewer.
- Is my PDF uploaded?
- No. Pages are rendered by your browser and the PDF doesn't reach our server.
