How to convert Excel to PDF

  1. 1In Excel, set the print area and page breaks if the sheet is wide. This decides where pages split.
  2. 2Drop your .xlsx or .xls file into the box above and select Convert.
  3. 3Download the PDF.

What you get

  • Every sheet in the workbook is converted, in order.
  • Columns that don't fit on a page spill onto extra pages, exactly as Excel would print them.
  • Cells show their results, not the formulas behind them.
  • Conversion uses LibreOffice, so charts and conditional formatting can look slightly different from Excel.

Limits

  • Without an account: files up to 25 MB and 150 pages.
  • With a free account: up to 50 MB and 400 pages.
  • Conversion runs on our server, which allows 2 server jobs a day without an account and 10 a day with a free account. Compression and repair count towards the same allowance.

What happens to your file

Your file is uploaded over HTTPS to private storage and converted in an isolated worker. The upload is deleted as soon as conversion finishes, and the result about 60 minutes after it's ready, or straight away if you select Delete from server now. How we handle files.
