How do I convert a Word document to PDF for free?
Choose Word to PDF, add the file and convert. Formatting, fonts and page breaks are kept.
Can I convert a PDF to an editable Word document?
Yes, with PDF to Word. Text and layout are rebuilt as an editable DOCX. Scanned PDFs need OCR PDF first.
Are my documents kept?
No. Browser-side conversions never leave your device, and server conversions are deleted as soon as they finish.
Is Document converter free?
Yes. Document converter is free, works without an account and adds no watermark, for files up to 25 MB. A free account raises that to 50 MB.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
Only for Word, Excel and PowerPoint to PDF, which need server software; those files are deleted about 60 minutes after processing. Every other conversion here runs in your browser.
