- Ordinary lossy WebP photos are stored as 95% quality JPG.
- Animated WebP keeps its first frame only.

What happens to your file

WebP to PDF: common questions
- Why convert WebP at all?
- PDF has no WebP support, and many email clients, printers and older apps can't open WebP either. A PDF opens everywhere.
- Will the quality drop?
- Lossless WebP doesn't lose anything, because it becomes PNG. Lossy WebP is re-saved as a 95% JPG, a change you'd need to zoom right in to see.
- Are my images uploaded?
- No. Your browser decodes the images and builds the PDF, so nothing reaches our server.
