HEIC to PDF converter
Turn iPhone HEIC photos into a PDF, one photo per page, in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. The photos are decoded on your device.
Runs in your browser. Your file is never uploaded.
How to convert HEIC to PDF
- 1Drop one or more HEIC photos into the box above. Outside Safari, the first one loads a 2 MB decoder.
- 2Drag them into order, then pick a page size, orientation and margin.
- 3Download one PDF with a page per photo.
What you get
- Each photo becomes one page, at its full resolution, in the order shown.
- PDF can't hold HEIC directly, so each photo is stored as a 95% quality JPG.
- If a HEIC file holds several images, only the main one is used.
- JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF images can go in the same PDF.
Limits
- Without an account: files up to 25 MB and 150 pages, 5 files at a time.
- With a free account: up to 50 MB and 400 pages, 10 files at a time.
- Very large files depend on your device's memory, because the work happens in your browser.
What happens to your file
Your file never leaves your device. The conversion runs in your browser using code from our site, and we don't receive the file, its name or anything inside it. How we handle files.
HEIC to PDF: common questions
- Does this work in Chrome or on Windows?
- Yes. Safari reads HEIC on its own. In Chrome, Edge and Firefox we load a HEIC decoder (about 2 MB) the first time you add a HEIC photo, and decode it in your browser.
- Are my photos uploaded?
- No. The decoder runs on your device and your browser builds the PDF, so the photos don't reach our server.
- Why is the PDF bigger than my HEIC photos?
- HEIC compresses better than the JPG that PDF stores. If the PDF is too big to send, Compress PDF can shrink the images.
- How do I stop my iPhone saving HEIC?
- Go to Settings > Camera > Formats and choose Most Compatible. New photos are then saved as JPG; existing photos stay HEIC.
